Exchange with universities

In November 2019, students from the Saarland University of Applied Sciences | Hospitality Business School from Saxon in the Netherlands and their professors were guests at Saarbrücken Castle to learn about the European model project “Starry Path/Chemin des étoiles” during a presentation by Peter Michael Lupp.

Cooperation with universities from different disciplines is very important in the model project. Lectures are also held regularly for students. Time and again, they are also involved in the process as part of practical semesters.

For the students it was a very valuable experience and certainly also a look beyond their own nose in the development of contemporary cultural projects that also have an impact on large-scale regional tourism. The students found the combination of cultural and social project particularly exciting. They recognized the complexity and, on the other hand, the “simplicity” when committed regional developers get down to work and successively build value-oriented European networks.
